In the masonry industry, the name BLOCKLITE is synonymous with quality, innovation, and service. BLOCKLITE places special emphasis on structural concrete masonry and works closely with the architectural and engineering professions to create unique masonry projects. Since our founding in 1946, BLOCKLITE has produced masonry units for landmark buildings throughout California. Our Central California location, near Fresno, allows one day shipping to most metropolitan areas within the state. We are proud of our reputation for producing superior quality units. In 1984, BLOCKLITE was selected as the sole block supplier for the eight year Technical Coordinating Committee for Masonry Research (TCCMAR) program. We were selected because our products tested favorably in strength and shrinkage while remaining consistent throughout the testing period. BLOCKLITE agreed to supply concrete masonry units to the participating eight universities located throughout the United States. The TCCMAR program then studied the characteristics of reinforced masonry materials, structural components and systems to support the development of Engineered Concrete Masonry.
